Hall County Board of Equalization <br /> April 2, 2016 <br /> Page 2 <br /> the Board agreed in December 2011 to make this parcel tax exempt. The parcel has <br /> been tax exempt since 2011. <br /> Parcel 400311046 comprises the physical address of the Crane Trust's <br /> headquarters at 6611 W. Whooping Crane Drive in Wood River, Nebraska. The 2015 <br /> taxes on this property were $482.10. The Crane Trust inadvertently failed to request tax <br /> exemption for this property back in 2011 when it sought tax exemption for Parcel <br /> 400218917. It is unclear why there are two parcel numbers for the Crane Trust's <br /> headquarters since both parcel numbers cover the same piece of land. Parcel <br /> 400311046 should be tax exempt like Parcel 400218917. <br /> Ill. THE CRANE TRUST'S OTHER 28 PARCELS <br /> The Crane Trust has reviewed its records on the remaining 28 parcels of its <br /> property to determine which of these parcels the Crane Trust expects to lease in 2016. <br /> Although the Crane Trust has not yet entered into any lease agreements, it expects to <br /> enter into lease agreements on some, but not all, of these 28 parcels. <br /> A. The Crane Trust is not leasing 9 of the 28 parcels. <br /> The Crane Trust has not entered, nor will it be entering, into any lease or rental <br /> agreements on nine of the Crane Trust's other 28 parcels in 2016. These nine parcels <br /> are 400218399, 400218712, 400218852, 400218879, 400218895, 400218909, <br /> 400218925, 400219107, and 400287129. The County Assessor's website states the <br /> total acreage for these nine parcels is 914.61. The 2015 taxes on these nine parcels <br /> were $32,801.30. <br /> B. The Crane Trust will lease part of the property on 6 of the 28 parcels. <br /> The Crane Trust expects to lease a portion of the following six parcels for the <br /> 2016 year.
