HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JANUARY 12, 2016 <br /> 9:23 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Purdy seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Douglas Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka <br /> and County Treasurer Peg Pesek. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Lanfear made a motion and Purdy seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> December 29, 2015 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER - DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> A)DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR THE NEBRASKA STATE <br /> FAIR BOARD FOR A 2012 CHEVROLET PICKUP — County Treasurer Peg Pesek <br /> presented the exemption application for the Nebraska State Fair Board for a 2012 <br /> Chevrolet Pickup to be used by the State Fair Board of Agriculture and Staff for purpose <br /> of attending meetings conventions and getting supplies. <br /> B) DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR THE EVANGELICAL <br /> LUTHERAN GOOD SAMARITAN SOCIETY-WOOD RIVER —This is for a 2015 Ford <br /> Fusion to be used for travel to home office in Sioux Falls, SD to attend GSS campuses <br /> to work with employees on corporate compliance issues fair housing, and state and <br /> landlord/tenant laws in addition to company policy and procedure and survey readiness <br /> checks. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER - DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> MINISTERIO DIOS ESAMOR FOR A 1995 BUICK - This is for a 1995 Buick to be used <br /> to oversee the church's ministry in Nebraska. <br /> She has approved these exemption applications as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 <br /> and is asking the County Board for a motion to approve the applications. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the exemption applications as <br /> read. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
