HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING DECEMBER 1, 2015 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Lanfear made a motion and Schuppan seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Douglas Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka <br /> and County Treasurer Peg Pesek. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> November 17, 2015 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER - DISCUSS &APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> MID PLAINS CENTER FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR A FORD <br /> PICKUP — County Treasure Peg Pesek presented the exemption application for Mid <br /> Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services. This is for a 2008 Ford Pickup to be <br /> used to pick up and transport supplies from and to offices as well as remove snow. She <br /> has approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is <br /> requesting a motion from the Board to approve. <br /> Quandt asked if he should abstain on the exemption application because he serves on <br /> the board of Mid Plains. Discussion was held and this would not benefit him financially <br /> so he would not have to do so. <br /> Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the exemption application <br /> for Mid Plains Center for Behavioral Health Care Services for the Ford pickup. Arnold, <br /> Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS — Chairman Arnold called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> Meeting adjourned at 9:11 a.m. <br /> Marl- J.
