HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING MAY 5, 2015 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Richardson made a motion and Purdy seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Douglas Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane R i chardso n and Ste ve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka and <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the April 21, 2015 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> 1 COUNTY TREASURER DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> OVERLAND TRAILS COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA FOR A 2015 KAUFMAN <br /> TRAILER — County Treasurer Peg Pesek presented the following exemption <br /> applications. Overland Trails Council Grand Island for a 2015 Kaufman Trailer to be <br /> used for operations at Camp Augustine. She recommended approval as per Nebraska <br /> State Statute 77-202. <br /> 2. EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR ABUNDANT LIFE CHRISTIAN CENTER FOR A <br /> 2015 H&H TRAILER -Abundant Life Christian Center, 3411 West Faidley Ave. Grand <br /> Island for a 2015 enclosed H & H Trailer to be used to transport supplies and <br /> equipment from Church facilities and activities and for community outreach events. She <br /> recommended approval as per Nebraska State statute 77-202. <br /> 3. EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR SENIOR CITIZENS INDUSTRIES FOR A 2010 <br /> DODGE GRAND CARAVAN Senior Citizens Industries, 304 East Third Street, Grand <br /> Island to be used for delivering home delivered meals to the elderly and disabled. She <br /> recommended approval as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the exemption applications <br /> for Overland Trails Council, Abundant Life Christian Center and Senior Citizens. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
