HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JANUARY 13, 2015 <br /> 9:15 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Douglas Lanfear, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> Also present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, Board Assistant Stacey <br /> Ruzicka and County Treasurer Peg Pesek and County Assessor Jan Pelland. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Arnold read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Purdy made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the December 1r meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER - APPROVE NEW EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR HALL <br /> COUNTY SENIOR CITIZEN INDUSTRIES FOR A 2014 FORD BUS — County <br /> Treasurer Peg Pesek presented the exemption application for Hall County Senior <br /> Citizens Industries, 304 East 3`d Street Grand Island for a 2014 Ford bus to be used for <br /> public transportation of the elderly, handicapped and general public. She has approved <br /> this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202, <br /> COUNTY TREASURER —APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR MOSAIC FOR <br /> TWO 2015 CHEVROLET SEDANS —This is an exemption application from Mosaic, <br /> 2846 Old Fair Road Grand Island for 2 2015 Chevrolet sedans to be used for the <br /> transportation of disabled individuals. She has approved this exemption application as <br /> per Nebraska State Statute 77-202. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER —APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR MOSAIC FOR <br /> A 2015 DODGE VAN - This is an exemption application from Mosaic, 2846 Old Fair <br /> Road Grand Island for a Dodge van to be used for the transportation of disabled <br /> individuals. She has approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State <br /> Statute 77-202 and is requesting the board to approve them. <br /> Lancaster made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the exemption application <br /> as read. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all <br /> voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER - APPROVE THE 2015 MOTOR VEHICLE TAX EXEMPTIONS <br /> County Treasurer presented the 2015 motor vehicle exemption application. She stated <br /> that there are 50 applications and she has approved them per Nebraska State Statute <br />
