HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING OCTOBER 21, 2014 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Lancaster made a motion and Ziola seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Chief Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey <br /> Ruzicka. <br /> Chairman McFarland called the meeting to order. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chairman McFarland read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES-Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> October 7, 2014 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan <br /> and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman McFarland called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> 1. COUNTY TREASURER —APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR NEBRASKA <br /> DISTRICT COUNCIL OF THE ASSEMBLIES OF GOD— County Treasurer Peggy <br /> Pesek present the exemption application for Nebraska District council of the assemblies <br /> of God, 1503 West Second Street, Grand Island for a 2014 Toyota Sienna to be used to <br /> give pastoral care to their 90 churches and 250 credentialed pastors and ministers and <br /> to coordinate their district events, camps, conventions and seminars. She has <br /> approved this exemption application as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is <br /> requesting the board to approve. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption application <br /> for Nebraska District Council of the Assemblies of God. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 2. COUNTY ASSESSOR - TAX CORRECTION NOTICES —The county assessor office <br /> presented tax correction notices #4800 to #4816 requesting the board to accept and <br /> authorize the Chair to initial. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to accept tax correction notices #4800 to <br /> #4816 and authorize the Chair to initial. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br />
