HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Chief Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey <br /> Ruzicka and County Treasurer Peg Pesek. <br /> Chairman McFarland called the meeting to order. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman McFarland read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> August 26, 2014 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan <br /> and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 1. COUNTY TREASURER — DISCUSS &APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> MID PLAINS CENTER FOR BEHAVIORAL HEALTHCARE SERVICES FOR A 2001 <br /> DODGE VAN <br /> 2. COUNTY TREASURER - DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> MID NEBRASKA INDIVIDUAL SERVICES FOR A 2013 DODGE 4/DR WAGON <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek stated that she received two exemption applications; <br /> Mid Plains Center for Behavioral Healthcare Services, 615 North Elm, Grand Island for <br /> a 2001 Dodge minivan to be used to transport consumers to and from programs, <br /> services, classes and functions. <br /> Mid Nebraska Individual Services, 2536 Carleton Ave, Grand Island, NE for a 2013 <br /> Dodge 4/dr Wagon to b used to transport developmentally disabled individuals and <br /> provide services for employment. <br /> She has recommended approval of these exemption applications and is requesting the <br /> board to approve. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the exemption applications <br /> for Mid Plains Center and for Mid Nebraska Individual Services. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman McFarland called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Chairman McFarland called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br />
