HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING APRIL 8, 2014 <br /> 9:08 a.m. Arnold made a motion and Ziola seconded to go into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE— Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob <br /> McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present <br /> were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka, and <br /> County Treasurer Peg Pesek. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman McFarland read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES — Lancaster made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the March 25th meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and <br /> Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman McFarland called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> 6. COUNTY TREASURER— DISCUSS AND APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION <br /> FOR OVERLAND TRAILS COUNCIL BOY SCOUTS OF AMERICA FOR A 2014 <br /> HAULMARK TRAILER AND A 1997 FORD CHASSIS CAB TRUCK— County Treasurer <br /> Peg Pesek presented the exemption application for Overland Trails Council Boy Scouts <br /> of America, P.O. Box 1361 Grand Island for the 2014 Haulmark trailer and the 1997 <br /> Ford chassis and cab. The truck is used at Camp Augustine to provide maintenance <br /> and the trailer is used as a mobile activity trailer designed to take scouting activities to <br /> various communities. She approved this application as per Nebraska State statute 77- <br /> 202 and is requesting the board to approve. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the exemption application for <br /> Overland Trails Council Boy Scouts of America. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS—Chairman McFarland called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> 9:12 a.m. meeting adjourned and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> UUU =p/�!I:L,C' ' t <br /> ei <br /> aria .
