HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING JULY 2, 2013 <br /> 9:05 a.m. Schuppan made a motion and McFarland seconded to go into a Board of <br /> Equalization meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also <br /> present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and County Assessor Jan <br /> Pelland. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the minutes of <br /> the June 18, 2013 meeting. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan <br /> and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER DISCUSS & APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR <br /> MID NEBRASKA INDIVIDUAL SERVICES FOR A 2012 CHRYSLER 4/DR WAGON <br /> Deputy County Treasurer Alaina Verplank presented the exemption application for Mid <br /> Nebraska Individual Services, 2536 Carleton Avenue, Grand Island for a 2012 Chrysler <br /> 4/Dr wagon to be used to transport developmentally disabled individuals and provide <br /> services for employment. County Treasurer Peg Pesek approved the exemption <br /> application as per Nebraska States statute 77-202 and is requesting the County Board <br /> of Equalization to approve. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Purdy seconded to approve the exemption application for Mid <br /> Nebraska Individual Services for the 2012 Chrysler. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PLACE ON FILE PROTESTS #33 TO #172 - Quandt made a motion and Schuppan <br /> seconded to place on file protests #33 to #172. Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS - Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br /> business and no one responded. <br /> 9:15 a.m. returned to the regular meeting. , .��.,«< <br /> it a� y�w i <br /> aria J.
