HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING APRIL 9, 2013 <br /> 9:10 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to go into a Board of Equalization <br /> meeting. <br /> ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, <br /> Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Scott Arnold was absent <br /> attending a funeral of a family member. Also present were Deputy County Attorney <br /> Jack Zitterkopf, County Treasurer Peg Pesek and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open <br /> meeting law. <br /> MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of the <br /> March 26, 2013 meeting. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola <br /> all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no <br /> one responded. <br /> COUNTY TREASURER APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR NORTHRIDGE <br /> ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH - County Treasurer Peg Pesek stated she received an <br /> exemption application for Northridge Assembly of God Church, 3025 Independence <br /> Avenue, Grand Island, for a 1995 Classic enclosed trailer to be used to haul church <br /> equipment such as lawn mowers, snow blowers and luggage to and from youth and <br /> children's camps and conventions. She has approved this exemption as per Nebraska <br /> State Statute 77-202 and is requesting the County Board's approval. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the exemption application for <br /> Northridge Assembly of God Church for the 1995 trailer. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS— Chairman Lancaster- Called for new or <br /> unfinished business and no one responded. <br /> Adjourned back to the regular meeting at 9:14 a.m. y <br /> VI-OA <br /> Marl J.
