HALL COUNTY BOARD OF EQUALIZATION MEETING APRIL 9, 2013 9:10 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to go into a Board of Equalization meeting. ROLL CALL VOTE — Present on roll call vote were Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Daniel Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Scott Arnold was absent attending a funeral of a family member. Also present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, County Treasurer Peg Pesek and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW — Chairman Lancaster read the notice of the open meeting law. MINUTES —Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the minutes of the March 26, 2013 meeting. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried. PUBLIC PARTICIPATION - Chairman Lancaster called for public participation and no one responded. COUNTY TREASURER APPROVE EXEMPTION APPLICATION FOR NORTHRIDGE ASSEMBLY OF GOD CHURCH - County Treasurer Peg Pesek stated she received an exemption application for Northridge Assembly of God Church, 3025 Independence Avenue, Grand Island, for a 1995 Classic enclosed trailer to be used to haul church equipment such as lawn mowers, snow blowers and luggage to and from youth and children's camps and conventions. She has approved this exemption as per Nebraska State Statute 77-202 and is requesting the County Board's approval. Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the exemption application for Northridge Assembly of God Church for the 1995 trailer. Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Arnold was absent. Motion carried.
