HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING NOVEMBER 27, 2018 The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened November 27, 2018 by published call in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chair Jane Richardson. INVOCATION —The invocation was given by Doug Lanfear. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. Also present were County Attorney Sarah Carstensen and Executive Assistant Bonnie Kosmicki. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chair Richardson read the notice of open meeting law. VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Richardson stated that if anyone from the audience has a Request to reserve time to please come forward at this time and Mr. Hartman requested to address items 5 through 16. Consent agenda - Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by consent agenda. 1. Placed on file the minutes of the November 13, 2018 meeting 2. 9 Approved Resolution #18-078 to decrease public depository bond from Travelers Casualty & Surety Company to $12,900,000.00 3. 10 Placed on file the abstract of votes from the November 6, 2018 election 4. 11 Regional Planning no items 5. 12 approved the bi weekly pay claims 6. 14 Placed on file the report from Public Defender regarding caseloads. 7. 15 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts 8. 16 Placed on file communications Letter from NIRMA and Letter from DHHS regarding denial of direct costs 9. 17 approved the letter of recommendation from Karen Bredthauer to fill vacancy on NIRMA board Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. 1
