HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING OCTOBER 2, 2018 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened September 18, 2018 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chair Jane Richardson. <br /> INVOCATION —The invocation was given by Pam Lancaster. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Doug Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan was absent. Also present <br /> were County Attorney Sarah Carstensen and Executive Assistant Bonnie Kosmicki. Steve <br /> Schuppan was absent attending a funeral. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW— Chair Richardson read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Richardson stated that if anyone from the audience has a <br /> to please come forward at this time and no one responded. <br /> Consent agenda - Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the September 18, 2018 meeting <br /> 2. 4c Authorized the Chair to sign the Central District Health Department Interlocal <br /> Agreement to add the City of Aurora <br /> 3. 4d Updating the step chart was pulled <br /> 4. 6 placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's observation report <br /> 5. 7 Approved the extension of the lottery operator agreement between Fonner Keno and <br /> Hall County <br /> 6. 8a Set the bid opening for gravel bids on October 30, 2018 at 9:30 a.m. with bids due <br /> October 29, 2018 at 4:30 p.m. <br /> 7. 8b Approved change order#1 for the fall 2018 asphaltic concrete resurfacing <br /> 8. 8c Approved the change order Number 1 for the 2018 Hall County Administration <br /> Building parking lot replacement project <br /> 9. 10 Approved and authorized the chair to sign the interlocal agreement for law <br /> enforcement with Cairo, Doniphan, Wood River and Alda <br /> 10. 17 Authorized the chair to sign the interlocal agreement for the South Central Planning <br /> Exercise & Training Regional Group <br /> 11. 20 Placed on file the 2018 tax rates <br /> 12. 21 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 13. 22 Approved the early claims <br /> a) Grand Island Utilities-$17,611.57 <br /> b) Grand Island Utilities-Park-$1,526.44 <br /> c) City of Grand Island Utilities $18,103.39 <br /> d) Hall County Convention and Visitors Bureau-$53,455.61 <br /> e) Ashley Dorwart-training-$320.84 <br /> f) Century Link-$146.71 <br /> g) First Chain Supply-$178.79 <br /> 1 <br />
