INSTRUCTIONS FOR BIDDING, SPECIFICATIONS, AND BID FORMS. <br /> INSTRUCTIONS TO BIDDERS <br /> General. Bidders are requested to study carefully and conform to these "Instructions to <br /> Bidders" in order that their proposals are regular, complete and acceptable. <br /> Submission of Bids. Bidding will be divided as such(Time and material bids for the <br /> Restoration work on existing interior windows and one bid for the removal and installation of <br /> the new storm windows). All bids shall be made on the forms provided. All proposals shall <br /> be legibly written in ink or typewritten. Bids shall be submitted in sealed opaque envelopes <br /> clearly marked on the outside: "Courthouse Windows" <br /> Examination of site of work. Each bidder must examine for himself or herself the location and <br /> extent of the proposed work and determine any unusual conditions or hazards to be met in <br /> performing the work. Work will be scheduled around Courthouse functions or weekends and or <br /> evenings as required. Examination and inspection of the building may be arranged by contacting <br /> Loren Humphrey, Facilities Director, Hall County Park& Facilities Office 114 South Sycamore <br /> Street, Grand Island,NE 68801. Phone (308) 385-5049. <br /> Intent of bid. The bids being taken are for the demolition and disposal of existing storm <br /> windows, the repair and painting of existing interior windows, and installing replacement <br /> storm windows, including the provision of all necessary labor, supplies, and materials for the <br /> work at the Hall County Courthouse, 111 West First St., Grand Island, Nebraska. <br />
