HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING AUGUST 7, 2018 The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened August 7, 2018 by published call in the County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chair Jane Richardson. INVOCATION —The invocation was given by Kelly Karges with Trinity United Methodist Church. PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Gary Quandt and Jane Richardson. Stephen Schuppan was absent attending a funeral. Also present were County Attorney Sarah Carstensen and Executive Assistant Bonnie Kosmicki. NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chair Richardson read the notice of open meeting law. VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION - The affidavit of publication was received. REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME — Richardson stated that if anyone from the audience has a request to reserve time to come forward at this time. Michelle Setlik requested to address item 6 regarding the abandoned cemetery petition. CONSENT AGENDA - Lanfear made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the following 1. Placed on file the minutes of the July 24, 2018 meeting 2. 4 Approved Resolution #18-041 a resolution approving conservation easement for Prataria Ventures, LLC the Platte River Whooping Crane Maintenance Trust Inc. the Nature Conservancy and the United States Army Corps of Engineers 3. 8a Placed on file the annual report for the 2017 —2018 Highway Department 4. 8b Received the memo regarding the Administration Building parking lot 5. 13 a Placed on file the County Treasurer's 1016 & 2015 prior delinquent personal property taxes & 2017 accelerated & 2016 prior delinquent real property taxes 6. 13b Approved Resolution #18-042 for the 2-year county tax sale certificates 7. 13c Approved Resolution #18-043 for the 5-year tax sale certificates 8. 14 Authorized the Chair to sign the agreement with Vanguard for CAMA Software 9. 15 Approved the final plat and Resolution #18-044 for Felske Subdivision 10. 16 Approved the bi weekly pay claims 11, 17 Approved the early claims as listed 12, 18 Placed on file the office reports from Hall & Howard County Juvenile Diversion, County Sheriff, County Sheriff quarterly report, Building Inspector 13. 19 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts 14. 20 Communications none on file Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt and Richardson all voted yes and none voted no. Schuppan was absent. Motion carried 1.
