<br /> passive or active recreation, but does not include areas utilized for streets, alleys, driveways or
<br /> private roads, off-street parking or loading areas. However,the area of recreational activities such as
<br /> swimming pools,tennis courts, shuffleboard courts, etc.,maybe included as common open space.
<br /> 2.03.109COMMUNITY CENTER shall mean a place, structure, or other facility used for and providing
<br /> religious, fraternal, social, and/or recreational programs generally open to the public and designed to
<br /> accommodate and serve various segments of the community.
<br /> 2.03.11000MMUNITY SANITARY SEWER SYSTEM shall mean an approved central sewer collecting
<br /> system, meeting state and county requirements, available to each platted lot and discharging into a
<br /> treatment facility. This does not include individual septic systems.
<br /> 2.03.111 COMMUNITY WATER SUPPLY SYSTEM shall mean a public water supply system which
<br /> serves at least fifteen service connections used by year round residents or uses, or regularly serves 25

<br /> 2.03.112COMPATIBLE USES shall mean a land use that is congruous with, tolerant of, and has no adverse
<br /> effects on existing neighboring uses. Incompatibility may be affected by pedestrian or vehicular
<br /> traffic generation, volume of goods handled and environmental elements such as noise,dust, odor, air
<br /> pollution, glare, lighting, debris generated, contamination of surface or ground water, aesthetics,
<br /> vibration, electrical interference, and radiation.
<br /> 2.03.113 COMPREHENSIVE DEVELOPMENT PLAN shall mean the Comprehensive Development Plan
<br /> of Hall County, Nebraska, as adopted by the County Board of Supervisors, setting forth policies for
<br /> the present and foreseeable future community welfare as a whole, and meeting the purposes and
<br /> requirements set forth in Section 23-174.05, Nebraska R.R.S. 1943, as the same may, from time-to-
<br /> time,be amended.
<br /> 2.03.114CONDITIONAL USE shall mean a use allowed by the district regulations that would not be
<br /> appropriate generally throughout the entire zoning district without special restrictions. However, said
<br /> use if controlled as to number, size, area, location, relation to the neighborhood or other minimal
<br /> protective characteristics would not be detrimental to the public health, safety, and general welfare.
