Lancaster questioned if the board will have a list of the projects and the costs and Mr. Riehle <br /> stated they will address the projects recommended in the 1 & 6 and discuss it during the budget <br /> process. This will be based on the severity of the project. <br /> Quandt expressed concern on the asphalt resurfacing and this will also be discussed at budget <br /> time. Mr. Riehle stated if funds are tight they will have to cut culvert or bridge projects. The <br /> asphalt is close to 1 million dollars. Discussion was held that Hall County has the most paved <br /> roads. <br /> Bredthauer noted that some of the paved roads at CAAP were ground up and Riehle noted that <br /> there is one more road at CAAP they may mill and he also stated that they use the milling on <br /> other projects. <br /> Lancaster noted that some of the roads at CAAP were in bad shape and it was a good choice to <br /> grind them up because there is not a lot of traffic. <br /> Richardson thanked Mr. Riehle for the asphalt work in her area. She noted the drainage issues <br /> on Gunbarrel Road and concern on some of the driveways that have been put in. Riehle noted <br /> that the ditch maintenance on the Hall county side is the responsibility of Hall County. <br /> Discussion was held on the driveway permits that are required and these do help people stay <br /> out of trouble. Schuppan also noted that the driveway permits have helped. <br /> 5. DISCUSS AND APPROVE RESOLUTIONS FOR ADDITIONAL APPROPRIATIONS — Brad <br /> Fegley was present and explained that the justice system did go over and they knew this would <br /> be an issue so they will need to move dollars from miscellaneous general to the justice budget/ <br /> The extension office has a sinking fund and they received additional dollars but did not have the <br /> authority to spend so there is no net affect but they need to the additional dollars in order to <br /> spend the dollars. <br /> The election commissioner had to pay out an employee and the funds in the sick vacation <br /> liability fund were all used to it had to be paid from her budget. The Clerk of the District Court <br /> and the County Attorney also had additional pay outs. This has not been a normal year for <br /> these pay outs. <br /> A Election Commissioner—Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve <br /> Resolution #18 -30 for additional appropriations. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> B Agricultural Extension Agent— Lanfear made a motion and Bredthauer seconded to approve <br /> Resolution 18-031 for additional appropriations. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> C Justice System —Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve Resolution 18- <br /> 032 for additional appropriations. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 6 <br />
