June 12,2018 Resolution <br /> Vacation of a portion of Platte Street <br /> West of US Highway 34/281 <br /> WHEREAS, in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, the resolution setting the date <br /> for the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street <br /> was published in the Grand Island Independent on May 11th, 18th and 25th of 2018; and <br /> WHEREAS, also in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, the resolution setting the <br /> date for the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described portion of Platte <br /> Street was also served by registered or certified mail upon the owners of land abutting on <br /> or adjacent to the road to be vacated 2 weeks in advance of the public hearing; and <br /> WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described <br /> portion of Platte Street was also published in the Grand Island Independent on May <br /> , 2018: and <br /> WHEREAS, at 10:00 A.M. on May 29, 2018` the Hall County Board of Supervisors , <br /> acting in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, conducted a public hearing <br /> regarding the vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street in the county board <br /> room at 121 South Pine Street in Grand Island, <br /> NOW BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the public's interest to vacate the above described <br /> portion of Platte Street, that the vacated road right-of-way shall revert to the abutting <br /> property owner and the County Clerk is hereby directed to file this resolution with the <br /> Register of Deeds and be indexed against all affected lots. <br /> Resolution moved by Supervisor 2,&r� UA <br /> Seconded by Supervisor PC' t y\ ((,L Let r 0 r.LA` --Q4. <br /> Vote: <br /> Scott B.Arnold For • Against • Abstained i• Not Present <br /> Karen Bredthauer For V ;Against_• Abstained_• Not Present <br /> Pamela E.
