June 12,2018 Resolution Vacation of a portion of Platte Street West of US Highway 34/281 WHEREAS, in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, the resolution setting the date for the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street was published in the Grand Island Independent on May 11th, 18th and 25th of 2018; and WHEREAS, also in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, the resolution setting the date for the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street was also served by registered or certified mail upon the owners of land abutting on or adjacent to the road to be vacated 2 weeks in advance of the public hearing; and WHEREAS, notice of the public hearing regarding vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street was also published in the Grand Island Independent on May , 2018: and WHEREAS, at 10:00 A.M. on May 29, 2018` the Hall County Board of Supervisors , acting in accordance with Neb. Rev. Stat. § 39-1724, conducted a public hearing regarding the vacation of the above described portion of Platte Street in the county board room at 121 South Pine Street in Grand Island, NOW BE IT RESOLVED that it is in the public's interest to vacate the above described portion of Platte Street, that the vacated road right-of-way shall revert to the abutting property owner and the County Clerk is hereby directed to file this resolution with the Register of Deeds and be indexed against all affected lots.
