HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING OCTOBER 31, 2017 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened October 31, 2017 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by the senior pastor from Trinity United Methodist Church. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, <br /> Doug Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Stephen Schuppan. Also present were <br /> County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> 1. EMPLOYEE RECOGNITION —Chairman Lancaster presented Deputy County Assessor Barb <br /> Stoddard with a certificate of recognition and a key chair for her service to Hall County. Barb is <br /> retiring and moving. Lancaster stated the board appreciated her help with the Board of <br /> Equalization process. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME - Chairman Lancaster called for anyone who wanted to reserve <br /> time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION -The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Richardson made a motion and it was seconded by Lanfear to approve <br /> the following by consent agenda. <br /> 1.
