She explained that the NIRMA II is the work comp. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve Resolution #17-058 for the amendment <br /> and addendum to NIRMA/NIRMA II intergovernmental Interlocal agreement for 3 more years. <br /> Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 13 DISCUSS AND APPROVE LETTER OF SUPPORT FOR HOUSEHOLD HAZARDOUS <br /> WASTE GRANT-Arnold made a motion and Richardson seconded to approve the letter of <br /> support for the household hazardous waste grant. Arnold, Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 14. HEALTH INSURANCE COMMITTEE RECOMMENDATION— DISCUSS AND AUTHORIZE <br /> CHAIR TO SIGN AGREEMENT WITH FAMILY RESOURCES FOR THE EMPLOYEE <br /> ASSISTANCE PROGRAM - Schuppan stated that the health insurance committee met <br /> regarding the renewal. They had presentations from Family Resources and also Wholeness <br /> Healing regarding the employee assistance programs that they offer. The committee reviewed <br /> the information and is recommending renewing the agreement with Family Resources. <br /> Bredthauer noted there was a difference in the coverage for dependents depending on their age <br /> and also cost. <br /> Schuppan noted that the county has been with Family Resources for 5 years and the county <br /> utilization is high the utilization reports were in the packets the cost is also less than the other <br /> company. It was the committee's recommendation to renew the agreement with Family <br /> resources. He also noted that because of the usage there may be an increase in the fees next <br /> year. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Quandt seconded to renew the EAP agreement with Family <br /> resources and authorize the chair to sign. <br /> Lancaster stated this is cost effective and a benefit for the employees. <br /> The vote on the motion to renew the agreement with Family Resources was taken. Arnold, <br /> Bredthauer, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT—Stacey stated she did not have a report. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS —Schuppan reported that the insurance <br /> committee has met twice once regarding the EAP and also regarding the wellness program. <br /> They viewed a power point presentation and are getting ready to hold employee meetings. <br /> Quandt noted information in the minutes from Stuhr Museum and ask if they were aware of the <br /> total funds that were approved for them. Stacey stated they received the information. <br /> Lancaster reported that the audit committee met regarding rural transportation in the past it was <br /> ran through the Senior Citizens Industries but now rural is not included so there is an interlocal <br /> agreement with the City and County for the rural services. The county has 5% ridership. The <br /> city is taking over and they would like to have the buses. We have $10,000 invested in each <br /> 8 <br />
