HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING OCTOBER 3, 2017 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened October 3, 2017 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by FatherTorpie. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer Pamela Lancaster, Doug <br /> Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Stephen Schuppan. Also present were County <br /> Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME - Chairman Lancaster called for anyone who wanted to reserve <br /> time on a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION -The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Richardson made a motion and it was seconded by Arnold to approve <br /> the following by consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the September 19, 2017 meeting <br /> 2. 9. Authorized the chair to sign the certification of roads yearly SSAR reports <br /> 3. 11 b Set the request to receive sealed bid for$41,030 Type (A) Nebraska Historic Tax <br /> Credits for October 31, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. with bids to be received by Monday October 30, 2017 <br /> at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 4. 14 placed on file the tax rates <br /> 5.15 Accepted the Classification Committee recommendation regarding job description for <br /> mental health care providers <br /> 6. 16 Regional planning no items <br /> 7. 17 approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 8 18 Approved the early claims as follows <br /> a. Grand Island Utilities Dept. (all buildings) $17,620.54 <br /> b. Grand Island Utilities Dept. (Park) $ 1,885.23 <br /> c. Grand Island Utilities Dept. (Corrections) $19,129.59 <br /> d.
