Kristi Wold stated she lives in Wolbach, Nebraska and she is currently the Greeley County <br /> Deputy Assessor she has 2 daughters ages 11 and 5. <br /> #2 Why are you interested in this position? <br /> She stated it is time for a change she like her current job but would like to be able to advance <br /> #3 Tell us about your education and training relative to this position? <br /> She has had the assessor certification since May, 2012 <br /> She has taken a number of courses IAAO 101 and IAAO 300 that are required to hold the office <br /> of assessor, she has done the pickup work in Greeley County, market studies, created <br /> depreciation tables and covers everything in the office they are all cross trained. <br /> #4 Tell us about your management experience and experience in working with the public? <br /> She has excellent customer service skills she listens and tries to resolve any issues <br /> Their staff is small but they all work together and it is a team effort <br /> She has a strong work ethic <br /> #5 What are your expectations of being the Hall County Assessor/Register of Deeds? <br /> She has the experience for the position has excellent customer service skills <br /> She is eager to learn and serve the taxpayer of Hall County <br /> #6 Give us an example of a previous work situation where you were under a great deal of <br /> pressure and how did you respond? <br /> The assessor's office has deadlines that have to be met <br /> It can be high stress environment but you have to prioritize what needs to be done even if it is <br /> long hours and good days and bad days <br /> #7 Is there anything you would like to add? <br /> She did not have anything to add <br /> She provided a phone number where she could be reached. <br /> Lancaster stated they hope to make a decision today and will contact her if there is a second <br /> interview <br /> County Assessor Jan Pelland clarified what the IAAO classes are that the assessor have to <br /> complete they have to have 60 hours of continuing education. They can attend district meetings <br /> and there are also webinars. <br /> Jan also explained the different job descriptions and positions that she has in her office. <br /> 11 <br />
