RESOLUTION#17- O Cj d A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING SALARIES FOR CERTAIN ELECTED COUNTY OFFICIALS WHEREAS, the Hall County Board of Supervisors is required by law to set and establish salaries for elected county officials for the four-year term of office commencing on January 3, 2019. NOW BE IT RESOLVED, that the annual salaries for the following county officials are hereby set as follows: 1. The annual salary for the office of county clerk, clerk of the district court, and treasurer be established at$86,507.20 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of- living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be $88,237.34, calendar year 2021 shall be $90,002.09 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be$91,802.13. 2. The annual salary for the combined office of county assessor& register of deeds be established at$94,577.60 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of- living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be$96,469.15, calendar year 2021 shall be $98,398.53 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be$100,366.50. 3. The annual salary for the office of county attorney be established at $123,094.40 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of-living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be $125,556.29, calendar year 2021 shall be $128,067.42 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be $130,628.77. 4. The annual salary for the office of county supervisor be established at 35% of the lowest elected official salary which is $30,277.52 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of-living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be $30,883.07, calendar year 2021 shall be $31,500.73 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be $32,130.74. 5. The annual salary for the office of county sheriff be established at $110,843.20 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of-living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be $113,060.06, calendar year 2021 shall be $115,321.26 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be $117,627.69. 6. The annual salary for the office of county surveyor/county highway superintendent be established at $93,142.40 for the calendar year 2019. Each year thereafter a 2 percent cost-of- living increase shall be added to the previous year's salary so the total amount paid for the calendar year 2020 shall be $95,005.25, calendar year 2021 shall be $96,905.36 and for the calendar year 2022 shall be $98,843.47. The office of county surveyor/county highway superintendent shall be a full-time position, and the salary established herein shall be deemed to include the $14,456 plus COLA's provided for in Hall County Board Resolution#16-060.
