11 B) DISCUSS &TAKE ACTION ON RESOLUTION PROVIDING FOR ADDITIONAL <br /> APPROPRIATIONS FOR THE DISTRICT JUDGE BUDGET FOR FISCAL YEAR 2016-2017 <br /> This resolution will transfer$1,000.00 from miscellaneous general to increase the health <br /> insurance line item. A new employee was hired and is asking for health insurance coverage. <br /> This will only be for one month. This will be paid from miscellaneous general 970-2-9900 to <br /> District Judge line item 624-1-0802 for health insurance. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve Resolution #17-028 For additional <br /> appropriations for the District Judges Budget. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Quandt, Richardson <br /> and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Bredthauer was absent. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS - Schuppan stated that the committee has <br /> worked hard on the wellness plan they met numerous times and talked to Mark many times <br /> during the process. He hopes the plan will go well and education is the important thing now. <br /> Lancaster stated this is a good start and it is important to inform the employees. It will also take <br /> people at the county level to help. <br /> Quandt thanked Doug and Marla for the help with the employee recognition. <br /> Richardson and Mr. Humphrey informed the board that the carpet in the veterans service office <br /> will be replaced June 18t they will start working on it at 7:30 a.m. Thursday. Mr. Humphrey also <br /> provided copies of a letter from Tri-Cities Group regarding the Courthouse roof. It stated that <br /> Mr. Urban walked the roof and inspected it and he did not find any issues with it. The roof was <br /> also inspected by Firestone Building Products before the warranty was issued and there no <br /> repairs required. They issued a warranty on the roof. <br /> Quandt questioned if the signs about the animals in the park were posted. Mr. Humphrey stated <br /> that they are up. <br /> Stacey Ruzicka requested to go over the insurance information with the board members. She <br /> reviewed the insurance packets and ask them to turn them in to her. <br /> 1 <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS -Chairman Lancaster called for new or unfinished <br /> business. County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated that the Courthouse roof reminded him about <br /> some issues with the roof on the County Attorney Building. The roof has been completed and <br /> now the bats cannot get out of the building. Mr. Humphrey stated that they found areas where <br /> the roof was not attached to the building and it was loose. The bats have not found a way out <br /> yet. He also noted that when they were replacing the roof there was a pipe that they could look <br /> down and see the ceiling surprisingly enough it did not leak. <br /> I <br /> Lancaster stated that even if you think your home it tight the bats can still get in.
