HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING APRIL 4, 2017 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened April 4, 2017 by published call in the County Board <br /> meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER-The meeting was called to order by Chairman Pamela Lancaster. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Bishop William Denninger. Lancaster stated that he is a <br /> distinguished veteran. He served as a military chaplain for 31 years. She read information regarding his <br /> various awards and presented him with a certificate of recognition. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Karen Bredthauer, Pamela Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Stephen Schuppan. Also present were County Attorney Jack <br /> Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW--Chairman Lancaster read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME-Chairman Lancaster called for anyone who wanted to reserve time on a <br /> specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION -The affidavit of publication was received. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA- Richardson made a motion and Arnold seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on fil e the minutes of the March 21, 2017 meeting <br /> 2. 11 placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's report of public tax sales for delinquent <br /> 2015 real estate taxes <br /> 3. 12 approved the special designated liquor license for Hy-Vee Grand Island for April 20, <br /> 2017 at Doniphan Family Care <br /> 4. 15 Placed on file the quarterly report from Grand Island Public Library <br /> 5. 17 Placed on file communications from Regional Planning <br /> 6. 18 approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 7. 19 Approved the early claims for <br /> a) City of Grand Island Utilities (corrections) $12,795.14 <br /> b) Hall County Convention Visitors Bureau $22,638.71 <br /> c) Century Link(long distance all departments) $ 129.60 <br /> d) Grand Island Utilities Dept.
