Adjourned the Board of Equalization and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> Discussion was held on the Board of Corrections meeting it is scheduled for 10:30 a.m. and <br /> there are no items left to address on the agenda. County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf stated he felt <br /> that the board could cancel the meeting. <br /> 10. APPROVE BI WEEKLY PAY CLAIMS AND REGULAR CLAIMS —The board members <br /> received the board preapproval list for their review. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Lancaster seconded to approve the bi weekly pay claims and the <br /> regular claims. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted <br /> yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER REPORTS — Schuppan stated that the facilities committee <br /> discussed the issues on the Courthouse windows and the stairs and there are two options on <br /> the stairs and Mr. Humphrey cannot get an answer. They also need to discuss the tax credit <br /> issue to determine if they are worth it. There is nothing to report. <br /> Schuppan stated that the insurance committee met with Wellness Partners from McCook, <br /> Nebraska regarding their wellness program. They have an extensive plan and are not an <br /> internet based plan. They are a certified health care provider. It is a different program and <br /> more hands on. They are waiting for information from Mid-American Benefits. The committee <br /> discussed also getting another proposal. <br /> Purdy stated that Wellness Partners has city and county entities and the program was well <br /> received by the committee and they would like to have them come to the entire board and give a <br /> presentation. <br /> Lanfear reported that Drug Court will be holding a graduation and everyone is welcome to <br /> attend, It will be held in Hastings at the old police department <br /> 3 <br />
