HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING NOVEMBER 1, 2016 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened November 1, 2016 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Scott Arnold. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Dan Purdy, Doug <br /> Lanfear, Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Stephen Schuppan. Also present were County <br /> Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Scott Arnold read the notice of open meeting <br /> law. <br /> Affidavit of publication received <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME —Arnold stated that if anyone from the audience has a request <br /> to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this time and no <br /> one responded. <br /> RECOGNITION OF COUNTY EMPLOYEE FOR MILITARY SERVICE —Jane Richardson <br /> stated the employee was not available so it will be addressed in two weeks. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the October 18th meeting <br /> 2. 7a Placed on file the Public Works Quarterly report <br /> 3. 7c Approved Resolution #16-075 For the stop sign for traffic on White Cloud Road <br /> approaching Monitor Road <br /> 4. 7 d and 7 e will be addressed in two weeks. <br /> 5. 7f Set the bid opening for tractors for November 29, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. with bids due <br /> November 28, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 6. 7g Set the bid opening for bridge materials for bridge project C40(388) for November 29, <br /> 2016 at 10:15 a.m. bids due November 28, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 7. 10 Placed on file the County Treasurer's certification of distress warrants <br /> 8. 12 Discussion on the appointment to Regional Planning Commission Board Mr. Purdy <br /> stated that there was a letter from Chad Nabity regarding the appointment the board will <br /> be seeking applicants to fill the position <br /> 9. 13 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 14 Approved the following early claims <br /> a) Grand Island Utilities Dept. for Park for$1,452.93 <br /> b) Grand Island Utilities Dept. for county buildings for$12,497.29 <br /> c) Grand Island Utilities Dept. for Corrections Dept. for$77.15 <br /> d) Grand Island Utilities Dept. for Corrections Dept. for$17,342.55 <br /> e) Grand Island/Hall County Convention Bureau for$43,819.97 <br /> f) Stuhr Museum transfer funds for$5,000.00 <br /> 15.
