Placed on file communication <br /> 20. a) Set the bid opening for the County Attorney Building roof replacement for <br /> December 13, 2016 at 9:45 a.m. bids due December 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> b) Set the bid opening for repairs to skylight on Courthouse for December 13, <br /> 2016 at 10:00 a.m. bids due December 12, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson, Schuppan all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:05 A.M. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:33 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting. <br /> 9 DISCUSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON COUNTY ASSESSOR'S VEHICLES —Quandt <br /> stated that there was some discussion during budget time regarding the condition of the County <br /> Assessor's vehicles. The headlights on the Taurus do not work they were used vehicles and <br /> are worn out. They need to have safe vehicles. <br /> Schuppan stated that this was discussed and when Jan talked to the board she stated that she <br /> did not have any funds to purchase new vehicles. <br /> Lancaster questioned if they could work with Casey to see if there are any surplus vehicles. <br /> Pelland stated the white Durango leaks when it rains and smells moldy, the doors won't open, <br /> The transmission is slipping and the brakes need some work. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Richardson seconded to work with Casey Sherlock to find a <br /> surplus vehicle for the assessor. <br /> Lancaster good opportunity when there is something that you need it needs to come up at <br /> budget time and it is imperative to bring it to the board. They have the equipment acquisition <br /> fund to address purchasing vehicles. Schuppan stated that it was discussed at budget time. <br /> The vote on the motion was taken. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and <br /> Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> PUBLIC PARTICIPATION —Chairman Arnold called for public participation and no one <br /> responded. He called for a break to set up more chairs for the public hearing. <br /> 2 <br />
