Motion carried. <br /> 9:10 a.m. Held a Board of Equalization meeting <br /> 9:25 a.m. Adjourned the Board of Equalization meeting and returned to the regular meeting. <br /> COUNTY ATTORNEY EXECUTIVE SESSION — PENDING LITIGATION-- Lanfear made a <br /> motion and Lancaster seconded to go into executive session. There are two reasons for an <br /> executive session to prevent needless harm or injury to an individual or to protect the public <br /> interest. This would be to protect the public interest. County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board <br /> Assistant Stacey Ruzicka were included in the executive session. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, <br /> Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 9:27 a.m. Executive session <br /> 10:02 a.m. Quandt made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Arnold stated that no other subjects were discussed, no votes were taken and no action was <br /> taken. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and <br /> none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> 7. 9:45 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING FOR BLESSING CONSTRUCTION FOR RENEWAL OF <br /> CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT--Quandt made a motion and Lancaster seconded to open the <br /> public hearing for Blessing Construction. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, <br /> Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Humphrey stated that this is the renewal of a conditional use permit to stock pile concrete <br /> and other materials. He inspected the site and they keep it clean. They are open 8:00 to 5:00. <br /> There are representative of Blessing Construction present. Quandt asked what the common <br /> address of the site and they stated it is on 13th and 70th Road and 60th Road at CAAP <br /> Chairman Arnold called for public participation and Bob Jones stated he lives on 60th Road on <br /> the corner. He expressed concern on the noise and the dust. There is high truck traffic. He <br /> also stated that they need a stop sign on 60th Road there is a lot of truck and implement traffic. <br /> A representative from Blessing Construction stated his concerns are valid. They run water <br /> through the plant and also use a water truck and do not operate when it is windy. They may <br /> 2 <br />
