HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MAY 17, 2016 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened May 17, 2016 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Arnold. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Affidavit on file. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME—Chairman Arnold asked if anyone would like to reserve time <br /> to address a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> 1. RECOGNITION OF COUNTY EMPLOYEE FOR MILITARY SERVICE - Jane Richardson <br /> read the certificate of recognition for Kristine Glebbe an employee of the Corrections <br /> Department thanking her for her service to our country and for her service to Hall County. <br /> Kristine Glebbe as of 6/7 2011 on active duty orders. Todd stated she is a solid and reliable <br /> employee and that makes things work well. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the May 3, 2016 meeting with correction on page 5 <br /> 2. 7 Set the public hearing for the 1 & 6 Road Program for June 28, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. <br /> 3. 8 Approved the special designated liquor license for Sin City for an event to be held <br /> June 11, 2016 at the Heartland Public Shooting Park <br /> 4. 9 Set the bid opening for installation of fiber optic cabling for computer networking to the <br /> federal building for June 14, 2016 at 9:30 a.m., bids due June 13, 2016 at 5:00 p.m. <br /> 5. 12 Approved and authorized the chair to sign the 3 year rate guarantee renewal for <br /> TASC <br /> 6. 13a Approved the final plat and Resolution #16-034 For North Doniphan Substation <br /> Subdivision <br /> 7. 13 c Approved Resolution #16-035 to vacate the plat for Denman Subdivision <br /> 8. 13 b Approved the final plat and Resolution #16-036 For Blauhorn Subdivision <br /> 9. 16 Placed on file the county office reports for County Sheriff March 2016 fees, County <br /> Sheriff quarterly report for January, February & March 2016, County Clerk, County <br /> Assessor Register of Deeds, Hall & Howard County Juvenile Services <br /> 10. 17 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 11. 18 Placed on file communications from the Nebraska Department of Roads <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
