HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING APRIL 19, 2016 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened April 19, 2016 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Arnold. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> VERIFY AFFIDAVIT OF PUBLICATION —Affidavit on file. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME—Chairman Arnold asked if anyone would like to reserve time <br /> to address a specific agenda item and no one responded. <br /> 1. RECOGNITION OF COUNTY EMPLOYEE FOR MILITARY SERVICE -Jane Richardson <br /> read the certificate of Recognition for Curt Dean Perkins thanking him for his service to Hall <br /> County and to our Country. He stated that he has been employed with Hall County for 15 1/2 <br /> years. He served in the Army and was stationed in Germany. Casey Sherlock stated that Curt <br /> runs a gradall and requires special skills to operate it. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA- Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda — <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the April 8, 2016 meeting <br /> 2. 5b Approved the opening of a free checking account with a debit card through Home <br /> Federal Bank by Hall County Juvenile Services <br /> 3. 8 Placed on file the Highway Department Quarterly report <br /> 4. 9 Approved Resolution #16 031 to increase the public depository bond to <br /> $16,000,000.00 <br /> 5. 10 Authorized the Chair to sign the grant award for HIDTA funding for Central Nebraska <br /> Drug & Safe Streets Task Force <br /> 6. 14 Placed on file communications from Regional Planning <br /> 7. 14b Authorized the Chair to sign the MOU with US Cellular <br /> 8. 16 Placed on file the office reports from the County Sheriff, Hall & Howard County <br /> Juvenile Services, County Clerk and Assessor/Register of Deeds <br /> 9. 17 Place on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous Receipts <br /> 10. 18 Placed on file communications <br /> Chad Nabity explained on the MOU with US Cellular that all of the conditional use agreements <br /> for the towers allow the county to put equipment for Emergency Management if needed. This <br /> MOU just states that Hall County will follow their protocol and contact them if we use the tower. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
