HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JANUARY 26, 2015 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened January 26, 2016 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER - The meeting was called to order by Chairman Arnold. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were Scott Arnold, Pam Lancaster, Doug Lanfear, Dan Purdy, <br /> Gary Quandt, Jane Richardson and Steve Schuppan. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Arnold read the notice of open meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME - Chairman Arnold called for anyone that would like to reserve <br /> time on a specific agenda item the following requested to address the board. <br /> Paul Wicht Grand Island requested to address the appointment of the corrections director. <br /> Greg Cramer, 2108 Marshall Street, Wood River requested to address the building inspection <br /> services <br /> Elected and Appointed Officials present were County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf County Clerk <br /> Marla Conley, Corrections Director Todd Bahensky, County Treasurer Peg Pesek and County <br /> Assessor Jan Pelland and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka and representatives from the news <br /> media. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Purdy made a motion and Lanfear seconded to approve the following by <br /> consent agenda. <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the January 12, 2016 meeting <br /> 2. 5c Placed on file the quarterly report for the Road Department <br /> 3. 12 Placed on file the 2016 committee assignments for the Hall County Board <br /> 4. 13 Placed on file the Hall County Keno financial report for quarter ending September 30, <br /> 2015 <br /> 5. 16 Placed on file the settlement of the Hall County Treasurer with the Hall County Board <br /> 6. 16b Approved Resolution #16-003 to increase the pubic depository bond to <br /> $12,000,000.00 <br /> 7. 16c Approved Resolution #16-004 to increase the public depository bond to <br /> $15,000,000.00 <br /> 8. 17 Placed on file the designation of county newspapers the Cairo record has been <br /> discontinued <br /> 9. 19 Placed on file the county office reports from the County Attorney statistical report, <br /> Hall & Howard County Juvenile Services <br /> 10. 20 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurers miscellaneous receipts <br /> 11. 21 Placed on file communications <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
