Bob reported,that the assessment of the old Weed <br />Control Building was A-ok and would be very saleable. <br />Letter ~was read from Robert Humiston Jr, Weed Board member, <br />resigning-his position on the board since he now lives within <br />the city of Grand Island, and also asking to be considered for <br />a vacancy on the board. due to the meme.be.r being elected to another <br />office. Tammie Stelk's lettero"f resignation was read. Both <br />was accepted by a motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and <br />Wright voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />Motion made by_Hartmg.n~ seconded by Frauen to appoint Humiston to <br />fill Stelk' s l~e~-pfiiraCL_term of office on the Weed Control Board. <br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, <br />Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted no. <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />Discussion on the Weed Control Superintendent vacancy and was proposed <br />to put the matter on the agenda in February and to advertise in <br />Weed Journals both state and national. This opening will occur on <br />August 1st and Schwartzkopf ask the board to have his replacement <br />on board by the 1st of July so he could spend a month with him. <br /> <br />Quandt maded motion to approve claims but to hold one claim in the <br />amount of $440.00 to James Hatch~, Leslie seconded the motion. On <br />roll call vote Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Wright <br />voted yes, Abernethy was absent. <br /> <br />Hartman made motion :to put on hold the Co-op Subdivision final plat <br />until next week.
