<br />9~;::' 377 <br /> <br />J <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, DECEMBER 1, 1992 <br /> <br />~ <br /> <br />The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. Absent was Robert Leslie. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br /> <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of November 24th meeting were accepted as received, on motion by <br />Quandt, seconded by Frauen, on roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz was present. He stated the resolu- <br />tion for Board of Corrections was not ready yet, will work with Criminal <br />Justice Committee to prepare. He needed guidelines from the Board of their <br />intention and possible date for transfer of jail operations from Sheriff to <br />Board of Corrections. Need to prepare job description for corrections director. <br /> <br />Attorney Janulewicz reported on the tax foreclosure sale. (1) 214 N. Oak, no <br />bid was received on property (2) Portion of Old Eagles Club property, county <br />was not the highest bidder (3) 904 E 12th, corner of 12th & Beal, county <br />was the highest bidder, so now owns the property (4) Lot at 2800 So. Locust <br />County was not the highest bidder. County Board needs to decide if they wish <br />to place a bid on 214 N. Oak or it will be listed again on Sheriff's sale. <br />Janulewicz to meet with City Attorney Sinor to see if they have any use for <br />this property. Sales must be confirmed by the Court, then Sheriff will <br />issue a deed for the properties that were sold. <br /> <br />Contract from State of Nebraska Department of Roads for Project No. BRO-7040 <br />(17) was presented, awarding the bid to Wilke Contracting Corporation of <br />Kearney, Nebraska. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to authorize chairman to sign the <br />contract for Project No. BRO-7040(17) and return to State. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted <br />no, with Leslie absent. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to adopt Resolution #1446 with Union <br />Bank and Trust as presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, <br />Landis, Quandt and Wright voted yes, none voted no, with Leslie absent.
