On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen, the copy of letter each board member had <br />received from Glendale Riese be referred to County Attorney. On rollcall vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, Hartman voted <br />no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Earl Wilson, spoke in regard to this letter also. He had been informed it was <br />not an Attorney General office matter, should be County Attorney, but he <br />thought that the people who filed the complaint should have an answer and the <br />board members opinion and reasons for action taken. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman reported on Building & Grounds meeting held last week. <br /> <br />Frauen reported he had visited with Milt Moravek, Central Platte NRD about the <br />proposed Wood River project that will go thru Hall County Park. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant had given each board member a booklet <br />Hike-Bike Trail for review. Discussion followed by no action taken. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported she will be leaving Thursday for Houston Texas and asked if <br />a Board Member would attend the Convention & Tourism, Fniday at noon and the <br />Head Start Board Meeting next Tuesday at 5:00 p.m. in her place. <br /> <br />Leslie had attended the Safety Committee and also Building & Grounds Committee <br />meetings. <br /> <br />Quandt reported will attend Senior Citizens Meeting tomorrow night. <br /> <br />Wright reported on Weed Control Board Meeting, they approved $400.00 for a <br />sign on front of the building. <br /> <br />Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported on drug firm representative <br />called about making a presentation; additional cost of $4368.00 for phone <br />sytems in Veterans Service Office, Supt of Schools office, District Judges <br />offices and a phone in computer room. If can sell old phones will receive <br />refund for those. <br />
