<br />County Assessor Jan Pelland reported she had received letter that State of
<br />Nebraska Board of Equalization and Assessment, Notice of meeting August
<br />12, 1992 at 9:00 A.M. when State Tax Commissioner will recommend to the State
<br />Board that values of Hall County will be adjusted, residential property +15.90%
<br />change.
<br />Pelland stated the actual valuation for Hall County is not available now
<br />will need to make the changes, estimate valuation $1,489 billion figure.
<br />The growth figure is $13,441,582.

<br />11:30 A.M. PUBLIC HEARING: to consider the requested change of land use dist-
<br />rict C-lO-92HC from transition agricultural District to a Planned Unit Develop-
<br />ment for property located west of Hilltop road and south ot Cedarv1ew Road.
<br />Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Daily
<br />Independent.
<br />Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director was present and read the Regional
<br />Planning Commission letter dated July 9, 1992 recommending County Board approve
<br />the zoning request. He also showed map of the development area located one
<br />mile west of Highway 281. Robert Giesenhagen, President of RW Rae Company the
<br />developer of the area was also present. .
<br />No one from audience spoke opposing the request.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to close the Public Hearing. On roll call
<br />vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes,
<br />none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to accept the recommendation and
<br />approve the rezoning request and request County Attorney to prepare the resolu-
<br />tion. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright
<br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
