PUBLIC HEARING: to consider the requested change of land use dist- <br />rict C-lO-92HC from transition agricultural District to a Planned Unit Develop- <br />ment for property located west of Hilltop road and south ot Cedarv1ew Road. <br />Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Daily <br />Independent. <br />Nelson Helm, Regional Planning Director was present and read the Regional <br />Planning Commission letter dated July 9, 1992 recommending County Board approve <br />the zoning request. He also showed map of the development area located one <br />mile west of Highway 281. Robert Giesenhagen, President of RW Rae Company the <br />developer of the area was also present. . <br />No one from audience spoke opposing the request. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to close the Public Hearing. On roll call <br />vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to accept the recommendation and <br />approve the rezoning request and request County Attorney to prepare the resolu- <br />tion. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright <br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed at 11:40 A.M. for lunch ann to return to regular session at 1:00 P.M. <br /> <br />Returned to regular session at 1:00 P.M. with all Board members present. <br /> <br />Conducted interviews for the three applicants for Airport Authority Board member <br />to fill a vacancy created by death of Charles Lundquist. <br />Interviewed were E. Glenn Johnson, Robert E. Ley and Ronald J. ziemba. <br /> <br />Hartman nominated Glen Johnson, Leslie Nominated Robert Ley and Frauen nominated <br />Ronald Ziemba. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Quandt that the nominations cease and vote be <br />taken. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and <br />
