9'~r-~/L/ Landis reported on Committee meeting in regard to trash on county roads and in ~ditches. Also reminded members of meeting tonight at Northwest Hiqh School at 6:30 P.M. in regard to integrated solid waste management systems by Nebraska . Department of Environmental Control. Quandt, Landis, Abernethy and Frauen would try to attend the meeting. /.- ....;.J Ellen Merrill, County Board Assistant reported Weed Control Authority offices are moved into new building, however report air conditioning not working. Also had received proposal from Business Telecommunications Systems for the tel~phone system for Extension offices at College Park. Tom Drudik was present and presented written information about budget as Board members requested, should be moving week of August 13th, however that is County Fair week so will move after August 17th and be ready for Open House planned for August 20th. Unfinished Business: ~ Reviewed the proposal from Business Telecommunication Systems for Extension offices at College Park. . .Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Frauen to approve and authorize chairperson to accept the proposal as submitted. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hart- man, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to accept the resignation of Ross Crow as treasurer of Center Township Board. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hart- man, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Requested County Clerk to hold warrants for Architect and contractor on the Weed and Building & Grounds Building until later date when final approval is gi ven by Building & Grounds Committee. .... Recessed at 11:20 A.M to work on 1992-1993 proposed county budgets. Discussed additional meetings on budgets and determined would meet next Tuesday Afternoon (July 7th) to work on budget proposals. at 11:37 A.M.
