On roll call vote Abernethy, <br />Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Application for renwal of Amusement License for Hall County Agricultural <br />Society for I year was presented. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Quandt to approve renewal of Amusement <br />License for Hall County Agricultural Society for 1 year. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Jean Fisher, Register of Deeds spoke in regard to the committee for research <br />on Maintenance Contracts for County offices. She had contacted IBM to inquire <br />about one contract to cover all offices but they are unable to provide a <br />single contract for everything. They are just not set up to do this. <br />Chairperson Landis appointed a committee of Leslie, Hartman and Landis <br />to continue to research and check to place all equipment under one contract. <br /> <br />Larry Gregg, Mid Continent RaceTrack requested permission to have their <br />annual fireworks display on July 4th. <br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Frauen to authorize and grant permission <br />to Mid Continent RaceTrack for fireworks display July 4th. On roll call vote <br />Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none <br />voted no. Motion carried. <br />Larry Gregg expressed appreciation for County blacktopping road in the <br />area. They really appreciated it. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to accept and place on file County office <br />reports as presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Frauen, Chairman Election Committee stated the Election Commissioner had <br />request from University of Kearney to obtain the master copies of the <br />redistricting to file in their offices. Discussion followed and decided <br />the original set should not be let out of Grand Island(or Hall County) if <br />they wish to obtain copies their would have to pay for them. <br /> <br />Frauen read letter he had received fromaometElrod requesting information <br />in regard to Building inspector. Referred letter to Public Works Committee <br />for investigation and recommendation. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported on Convention & Tourism meeting she attended. Also reported <br />on Law Enforcement Committee meeting with Villages in regard to contracts. <br />Will discuss further when Sheriff Arnett comes for budget review. <br /> <br />Quandt reported on Senior Citizens Industries meeting. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Frauen to recess for Executive Session to <br />discuss personnel and grievance filed. On roll call vote Abernethy Frauen, <br />Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no.
