<br />9~/"- /1/ <br /> <br />,i <br /> <br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JUNE 9, 1992 <br /> <br />~The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session <br />and by published call with Chairperson Margaret Landis presiding. <br /> <br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman, <br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. None were absent. <br /> <br />Invocation was given by Abernethy. <br />Pledge of Allegiance was given. <br /> <br />Minutes of June 2nd meeting were accepted as received, on motion by Quandt, <br />seconded by Frauen. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janu1ewicz was present. He presented corrected <br />copy of resolution establishing restricted parking areas. and restricted parking <br />lots abutting and adjoining the City-County Public Safety Center and the Hall <br />County Courthouse. <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Hartman to adopt Resolution #1393 as <br />presented. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, <br />Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION #/.393 <br /> <br />A RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING RESTRICTED PARKING AREAS AND <br />RESTRICTED PARKING LOTS ABUTTING AND ADJOINING THE <br />CITY-COUNTY PUBLIC SAFETY CENTER AND THE'" HALL COUNTY <br />COURTHOUSE <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the County of Hall, Nebraska, is the owner of a parking lot.which <br />adjoins or abuts the City-County Safety Center and a parking lot which is located <br />to the north of the Hall County Jail Building between the County Department of <br />Social Services Building and the County Courthouse; and <br />WHEREAS, the county, being the owner of the aforesaid parking lots, desires <br />to restrict parking in such lots as set forth herein; and <br />WHEREAS, the restriction of parking in the aforesaid lots is in the best <br />interest of the County. <br />NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved as follows: <br />I. Definitions. As used herein, the following terms shall have the following <br />meaning: <br />1. "Police Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and exclusively for <br /> <br />the parking of vehicles owned or operated by the City of Grand Island which <br />are utilized for official police department purposes and such other vehicles as <br /> <br />authorized by the Grand Island Police Chief. <br />2. "Police Patrol Car Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and <br />exclusively for the parking of police patrol vehicles owned or operated by the <br /> <br />City of Grand Island. <br /> <br />3. "Sheriff's Parking" shall mean parking areas restricted to and exclusively <br />for the parking of vehicles owned or operated by the County of Hall and which <br />are utilized for official sheriff's department purposes, and such other vehicles <br /> <br />as authorized by the Hall County Sheriff. <br />
