COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS — Lanfear reported that the law enforcement <br /> contracts with Wood River and Cairo have been approved. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT—Stacey reminded the board members of the upcoming <br /> formal board of equalization meetings starting July 14. <br /> She also stated that because of the end of the fiscal year and starting of the new fiscal year she <br /> may be working out of the office. <br /> 29. FACILITIES AGENDA— LANFEAR <br /> DISCUSS &APPROVE SHREDDING CONTRACT WITH PAPER DRAGON <br /> Lanfear stated that there was not a contract with the current firm to do the shredding and they <br /> have been charging $35.00 a visit even if they do not pick up any shredding. They have talked <br /> to Paper Dragon and they are willing to provide the services at 13 cents a pound and will not <br /> charge a minimum fee. <br /> Quandt questioned if they went out for bids. Janet O'Malley stated that she contacted Paper <br /> Tiger, Paper Dragon and Shredding Solutions. They all provide locked containers. <br /> Lanfear made a motion and Schuppan seconded to approve the contract with Paper Dragon for <br /> one year. Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes <br /> and none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> A letter will be sent to the current company. <br /> NEW OR UNFINISHED BUSINESS --Chairman Arnold called for new or unfinished business <br /> and no one responded. <br /> 22. EXECUTIVE SESSION — PERFORMANCE EVALUATION — Lancaster made a motion and <br /> Lanfear seconded to go into executive session regarding a performance evaluation. This <br /> executive session is to prevent needles harm or injury to an individual. Arnold, Lancaster, <br /> Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none voted no. Motion <br /> carried. <br /> 12:49 p.m. executive session <br /> 12:53 p.m. Schuppan made a motion and Richardson seconded to go out of executive session. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> Schuppan made a motion and Richardson seconded to present the evaluation to the employee. <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, Lanfear, Purdy, Quandt, Richardson and Schuppan all voted yes and none <br /> voted no. Motion carried. <br /> The meeting was recessed for eh quarterly jail tour.
