<br />Jeff Funk, Grand Is~and Independent spoke in regard to election results. He
<br />requested County Board to have Election Commissioner release the precinct by
<br />precinct results of today's, primary election on election night. He < requested
<br />the Independent have them no later than 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday for use in the
<br />Thursday edition.
<br />Election Commissioner Mary Kay Shay was present and gave her views on the
<br />request. She would have the precinct by precinct list by 5:00 P.M. orr Thurs-
<br />day for use in their Friday's edition. Discussion followed
<br />Motion by Wright, seconded by Hartman to give approval of.County Board
<br />for the Election Commissioner to make precinct by preciqct information avail-
<br />able. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright
<br />and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. ,;',
<br />Jeff Funk again requested from Election Commissioner Shay for the informa-:',;;
<br />tion to be available by 2:00 P.M. on Wednesday. ",:
<br />Election Commissioner Shay stated she would stick by her decision made;
<br />at meeting on January 13, 1992 to have precinct by precinct information
<br />available on Thursday following the election.

<br />Dan Hostler, Public Works Director was present to answer any questions from
<br />the Board members in regard to the Highway Department Quarterly report ~
<br />,presented at April 28th meeting.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Hartman to receive and place on file the
<br />Highway Department quarterly report. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen,
<br />Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion
<br />carried.

<br />Certificates of completion on Weed Control Building and Building & Grounds
<br />building were submitted for County Board's authorization. Discussion
<br />followed and felt were not ready to accept yet. Requested a 'written
<br />recommendation from the Building & Grounds Coimnittee before voting to accept ':,:
<br />the two buildings. Chairperson stated if committee requested the Board members':
<br />to they would all make a walk thru the buildings before the final acceptance.

<br />10:00 A.M. Continued hearing on the Conditional Use Permit request to place
<br />a mobile home on location of Platte River By Products. Kenneth Elson Attorney' :
<br />spoke and reported on the questions raised at the hearing on April 28th.
<br />George Zahni Monfort representative. Ed Meiniger Platte River By Products and
<br />a representative from'Greeley Colorado were also present.
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to grant the Conditional Use
<br />Permit to Platte River By Products to place the mobile home 0}:1 property.
<br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and
<br />Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.

<br />th~ question of rendering of dead animals ,at Monforts.

<br />Chairperson Landis appointed Leslie, Quandt and Landis to the grievance Comm~
<br />ittee in 'regard to the latest grievance filed by Communication Workers of
<br />America member. Will meet on Monday May 18, 1992 at 3JOO P.M.
