14 APPROVE THE REGULAR CLAIMS —The board received the board preapproval list. <br /> Quandt made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the regular claims except for Office Net. <br /> Arnold, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. <br /> Lancaster was absent. <br /> Ziola made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the claim from Office Net. Mr. <br /> McFarland abstained because he has a business relationship with Office Net. Arnold, <br /> McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Lancaster <br /> was absent. <br /> 18. COMMITTEE OR BOARD MEMBER'S REPORTS— Mr. Purdy stated that he attended the <br /> Health Department meeting Monday and they are looking for a dentist to sit on the health board <br /> and let them know if they know if someone is interested. <br /> Mr. Quandt stated he will be attending the CNCS meeting and they are to receive and accept <br /> the director's resignation. They will be searching for an executive director. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated at the last meeting they may have information about the Federal Building <br /> but they have heard nothing. <br /> BOARD ASSISTANT'S REPORT— Board assistant Stacy Ruzicka reminded the board about <br /> the CNCS meeting and Stuhr Museum meeting. <br /> 20 a. SET BID OPENING DATE FOR DECEMBER 16, 2014 9:30 A.M. FOR COURTHOUSE <br /> HVAC PROJECT AND RESTROOM RENOVATIONS — Mr. Humphrey stated that they had <br /> scheduled the bid opening for December 16, 2014 and there will be a pre-bid bid walk through <br /> December 9t" this will be a mandatory meeting. <br /> Mr. Quandt questioned if this proposal is to use the tunnel for the conduits and Mr. Humphrey <br /> stated they are and will add extra conduits for future use. Discussion was held if that Mr. Ruiz <br /> and Sheriff Watson should be included and Mr. Humphrey stated there will be a construction <br /> meeting every week and they will be included. <br /> Mr. Ziola asked when the work will be done and it was confirmed that it will be done at night and <br /> on weekends and cleaned up for the next business day. <br /> Arnold made a motion and Quandt seconded to set the bid opening for the Courthouse HVAV <br /> and restroom renovations for December 16, 2014 at 9:30 a.m. Arnold, McFarland, Purdy, <br /> Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted no. Lancaster was absent. <br /> b. DISUCSSION & POSSIBLE ACTION ON FLOOR PLAN FOR PLAZA CENTER - Mr. <br /> Humphrey showed the board members the proposed floor plan for the Plaza Center. He <br /> reviewed the location of the doors, the walls that will need to be changed and the added access <br /> to the bathrooms. He does not have a proposal on the cost. <br /> Mr. Quandt asked when he might have the costs. Mr. Huisman is working on this and he hopes <br /> to have some information by the end of the week. <br /> Mr. McFarland stated that he is working on the furniture issues. <br /> Mr. Zitterkopf introduced Randy See the new Juvenile Diversion Director. <br /> 7 <br />
