HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING SEPTEMBER 9, 2014 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened September 9, 2014 by published call in the <br /> County Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER-The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bob McFarland. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE—The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. <br /> Elected and Appointed Officials present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, County <br /> Clerk Marla Conley, County Treasurer Peg Pesek, and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka and <br /> representatives from the news media. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Bob McFarland read the notice of open <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME—Chairman McFarland stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> has a request to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Lancaster made a motion and Quandt seconded to approve the <br /> following by consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the August 26, 2014 meeting <br /> 2. 5 Approved Resolution #14-051giving the Hall County Department of Corrections <br /> authority to open a checking account this is a separate account to receive ACH <br /> payments from the State of Nebraska Department of Corrections for inmate housing <br /> 3. 10 Approved the manager's license for Troy Hansen with Pilot Travel Center <br /> 4. 11 Approved Resolution#14-052 for the withdrawal of collateral for US Bancorp for <br /> $15,000.00 <br /> 5. 12 Placed on file the report of 2012 2011 & prior delinquent personal property taxes and <br /> 2013 accelerated & 2012 & prior delinquent real property taxes <br /> 6. 14 Approved the final plat and Resolution #14-053 for South Shelton Subdivision <br /> 7. 15 Approved the bi weekly pay claims <br /> 8. 16 Placed on file the office reports from Hall & Howard County Juvenile Services and the <br /> County Clerk <br /> 9. 17 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts <br /> 10. 18 Placed on file communication from the FAA regarding aeronautical study for <br /> Monopole New Fair a cell tower <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
