HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING JULY 29, 2014 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened July 29, 2014 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bob McFarland. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL - Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. <br /> Elected and Appointed Officials present were Deputy County Attorney Jack Zitterkopf, County <br /> Clerk Marla Conley, County Assessor Jan Pelland, and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> Representative from the news media. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Bob McFarland read the notice of open <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME— Chairman McFarland stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> has a request to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. No one responded. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Lancaster made a motion and Quandt Lancaster seconded to approve <br /> the following by consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the July 15, meeting <br /> 2. 9 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's semiannual report <br /> 3. 10 placed on file tort claim of Grand Island Liquor Mart &Tobacco Row <br /> 4. 11 Placed on file the public works annual report <br /> 5. 12 Approved the bi weekly pay claims and the early claim for Northwestern Public <br /> Service <br /> 6. 13 Placed on file the county office reports from the County Attorney <br /> 7. 14 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's Miscellaneous receipts <br /> 8. 15 Placed on file communications <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none voted <br /> no. Motion carried. <br /> 1 <br />
