HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING MARCH 25, 2014 <br /> The Hall County Board of Supervisors convened March 25, 2014 by published call in the County <br /> Board meeting room, 121 South Pine, Grand Island. <br /> CALL TO ORDER -The meeting was called to order by Chairman Bob McFarland. <br /> INVOCATION - Invocation was given by Scott Arnold. <br /> PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE —The Pledge of Allegiance was given in unison. <br /> ROLL CALL- Present on roll call were, Scott Arnold, Pamela Lancaster, Bob McFarland, Dan <br /> Purdy, Gary Quandt, Steve Schuppan and David Ziola. Also present was Deputy County <br /> Attorney Jack Zitterkopf and Board Assistant Stacey Ruzicka. <br /> NOTICE OF OPEN MEETING LAW—Chairman Bob McFarland read the notice of open <br /> meeting law. <br /> REQUEST TO RESERVE TIME—Chairman McFarland stated that if anyone from the audience <br /> has a request to reserve time to speak on a specific agenda item, to please come forward at this <br /> time. Korinna Naranjo 1328 Hagge Avenue requested to address the prayer vigil for the Grand <br /> Island Veterans Home. <br /> CONSENT AGENDA— Lancaster made a motion and Ziola seconded to approve the following <br /> by consent agenda: <br /> 1. Placed on file the minutes of the March 11th meeting <br /> 2. 9 Approved the interlocal agreement with the City of Grand Island for detour during <br /> resurfacing project on Independence Avenue between Capital and Nebraska Hwy#2 <br /> 3. 15a Placed on file the report from the Hall County Treasurer regarding the return of <br /> public tax sale proceedings <br /> 4. 15 b Received and placed on file report of public tax sales for delinquent 2012 real <br /> estate taxes <br /> 5. 16 Mr. Quandt stated that the conditional use committee conducted the review of the <br /> County Industrial tract and all of the properties complied so no additional action needs to <br /> be taken. <br /> 6. 17 Placed on file communications from Regional Planning <br /> 7. 19 Placed on file the office report from Hall & Howard County Juvenile Services <br /> 8. 20 Placed on file the Hall County Treasurer's miscellaneous receipts. <br /> 9. 21 Placed on the communications <br /> Arnold, Lancaster, McFarland, Purdy, Quandt, Schuppan and Ziola all voted yes and none <br /> voted no.
