County share of cost to be $72,370.05 <br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to approve and authorize the <br />Chairperson to sign the contract with Aero-Metric Engineering Inc. On roll <br />call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted <br />yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Recessed for Board of Equalization at 11:33 AM. and returned to regular <br />session at 11:35 A.M. <br /> <br />Recessed for lunch at 11:40 A.M. to return to session at 1:30 P.M. <br />Returned to regular session at 1:30 P.M. with all county Board Members <br />present. <br /> <br />Keith Sinor,Grand Island City Attorney and Nelson Helm Regional Planning <br />Director were present for the review of the Industrial Tract areas the City <br />of Grand Island has requested be removed from industrial tract. <br />Nelson Helm showed maps of the areas in question. <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to set Public Hearing for March 31, <br />1992 at 10:00 A.M. to consider removing those areas from the Industrial Tract. <br />On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and <br />Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMUNICATIONS: <br /> <br />(1) from Senator Dan Lynch in reply to letter from County Board in regard <br />to LB943, the library automation bill. <br /> <br />(2) notice of Asphalt Pavement Maintenance program <br /> <br />(3) Copy of letter to Hostler, Highwy Superintendent from State of Nebraska <br />Dept of Roads in regard to Project NO BRS-2285(3) Grand Island N.W. <br /> <br />(4) Letter from Max Morse, Mid-Plains Center for Professional Services with <br />copies of follow-up letters regarding Children's Village and the recent <br />open house. <br /> <br />(5) Letter from Beth Holthusen, M.S. Regional III Child & Adolescent Special- <br />ist expressing appreciation for Hall County's support of children and <br />families in need of Children's Village Family Resource Center services. <br /> <br />(6) Letter from Region III Governing Board in regard to unused E.P.C. funds <br />available to Region III for current year. (This was referred to next <br />week's agenda for discussion) <br /> <br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to place on file the communications <br />received today. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, <br />Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Leslie reported County Court Clerk Magistrate Alice Mahood had <br />requested files in their office be microfilmed, otherwise will need file <br />cabinets or letriver. She told him she would like a Kearney firm to do the <br />microfilming. Discussion followed. <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Quandt to authorize Clerk Magistrate to <br />proceed with the microfilming project in County Court office. On roll call <br />vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, <br />none voted no. Motion carried. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman read a letter he had received from Interstate Structures in regard to <br />the Weed Control and the Building & Grounds buildings under construction. <br />Also listed a schedule of their time table for progress on the buildings. <br />Region III Retardation Services will be Wednesday evening March 11, Kearney. <br /> <br />Abernethy reported she had requested not to be reappointed to the Crime <br />Commission and Vernon Pearson, Fillmore County is now the counties represent- <br />ative. <br /> <br />Leslie reported on meeting he had attended in Lincoln with Hostler and Wright <br />in regard to the So Locust interchange funding. Total cost $82,000.00 and <br />Hall County's share to be $16,000.00 for Environmental Impact Study. <br /> <br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Frauen to authorize having the contract between <br />Hall County and E.A. to do the environmental impact study for the South Locust <br />
