! 9::1 r:-~ 35-- Y ~ County Assessor Jan Pelland presented Tax Correction Notices #2901 thru #2951. she stated Notice #2917 thru #2927 apply to the 1990 public utilities refunds. ~ The 11 refunds totaled $234,852.18. Hall County share is $38,386.93 for 1990. Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Hartman to accept and authorize chairman to sign tax correction notices #2901 thru #2951. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. Ken Elson Attorney representing Platte River By Products Inc. and" a-~representative from Platte River By product.s were present. Request for Amendment of Hall County Zoning Resolution for permitting animal or poultry packing or rendering plants as a conditional use in the AG-l Agricultural Zone. Platte River By Products Inc wishes to place a trailer house, to be used as an office, at their location. They have 63 full time employees. Motion by Wright,_seconded by Frauen to refer their request to Regional Planning Commission for Public Hearing. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried. COMMITTEE REPORTS: Hartman stated he had investigated the five wells near Wood River for ground water recharge demonstration project for Central Platte Natural Resources .District. All farmers had been contacted and no problems. Dan has issued the permits. Hartman also reported he has completed the evaulation review with Building & Grounds Superintendent. Frauen - none Abernethy reported on Regional III Governing Board meeting. Special Committee has been appointed for the review of Emergency Protective Custody services. Leslie - none Quandt - none Wright - none Landis reported on Family Violence Coalition meeting she had attended. County has approved use of office space but the group has nothing to set up office with. Ellen Merrill Board Assistant had nothing to report. She is working on the American Disability Act and also the bulk supply ordering. Leslie reported the GIS figures are back, will need Dan and Jan to make report to full board. 10:00 A.M. Bid opening for one 1991 Articulated Motor Grader for Public Works Department. Affidavit of publication was read as published in Grand Island Daily Independent on January 11, 15 and 25. Motion by Frauen, seconded by Abernethy to receive and open bids received. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
