<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, JANUARY 14, 1992

<br />> The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 A.M. from adjourned session
<br />~ and by published call with Chairman Richard Frauen calling the meeting to order.
<br />
<br />Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Frauen, Richard Hartman,
<br />Margaret Landis, Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Bill Wright. None were absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of ~llegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of January 7th meeting were accepted as received by mail, on motion by
<br />Quandt, seconded by Abernethy. On roll call vote Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Frauen voted yes, none voted no.
<br />
<br />County Clerk called for nominations for 1992 Chairman for Hall County Board of
<br />Supervisors.
<br />Abernethy nominated Landis
<br />Hartman nominated Frauen
<br />Leslie nominated Abernethy (Abernethy declined nomination)
<br />Quandt nominated Hartman
<br />
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Leslie to cease nominations and cast written
<br />ballot for 1992 Chairman. On roll call vote Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt, Wright and Frauen voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz, stated requires a majority of votes
<br />cast by members present. Requires 4 votes to be elected.
<br />
<br />County Clerk, County Board Assistant and Deputy County Attorney counted the
<br />ballots. Landis 4 votes, Frauen 2 votes and Hartman 1 vote.
<br />
<br />County Clerk presented the gavel to Margaret Landis for 1992 Chairman of Hall
<br />County Board of Supervisors.
<br />
<br />Landis made brief statement of appreciation.
<br />
<br />Frauen expressed his appreciation for assistance title' past year while he served
<br />as Board Chairman.
<br />
<br />Chairman Landis called for nominations for 1992 Vice Chairman for Hall County
<br />Board of Supervisors.
<br />Abernethy nominated Leslie, Leslie nominated Hartman.
<br />
<br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Quandt to cease nominations and cast written
<br />ballot for 1992 Vice Chairman.
<br />
<br />County Clerk, County Board Assistant and Deputy County Attorney counted the
<br />ballots. Hartman 5 votes and Leslie 2 votes
<br />
<br />Richard Hartman will serve as 1992 Vice Chairman for Hall County Board.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerry Janulewicz spoke in regard to Chief Industries
<br />Industrial Development Revenue Bonds, Series A and Series B and their request
<br />to exercise the option to purchase project and call for the redemption of
<br />bonds. He had prepared a resolution to authorize Chairman and County Clerk
<br />to execute the necessary papers to convey property to Chief Industries, contin-
<br />gent upon paYment deposited with the trustee.
<br />Deputy Attorney read the resolution prepared.
<br />
<br />Motion by Quandt, seconded by Abernethy to adopt Resolution #1338 as presented
<br />by Deputy Attorney. On roll call vote Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Leslie,
<br />Quandt" Wright and Landis voted yes, none voted no . Motion carried.

<br />OF HALL INDUSTRIAL DEVELOPMENT REVENUE BONDS (CHIEF INDUSTRIES, INC.
<br />PROJECTS), SERIES A AND B.

<br />WHEREAS, the COunty of Hall, Nebraska is the owner of certain real and
<br />
<br />personal property as described in the closing documents for the issuance of
<br />
<br />the County's Industrial Development.Revenue Bonds - Series A, September 15,
<br />
<br />. 1973 and Series B, January 15, 1982 (Chief Industries, Inc. Projects),
<br />
<br />hereinafter referred to as lithe projects"); and
