<br />Letter was read from County Assessor in regard to $14,586.00 cut from her

<br />Board members decided to leave budget same as they proposed until next
<br />week and County Assessor can attend the Public Hearing.

<br />Motion by Leslie, seconded by Frauen to receive and place on file the County
<br />Office reports as presented. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Abernethy absent. Motion carried.

<br />Recessed for Board of Equalization meeting at 11:00 a.m. returned to regular
<br />session at 11:23 a.m.

<br />Discussion on insurance coverage. Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to
<br />pay insurance of full time employee in Assessor's office as discussed. Frauen
<br />Hartman and Leslie voted yes, Landis, Quandt and Stelk voted no, with Aber-
<br />nethy absent, motion failed to carry of tie vote.

<br />COMMITTEE REPORTS:
<br />
<br />Stelk reported on Law Library Committee meeting, they are working on solutions
<br />on problems in question. City Council approved up to $20,000.00 for the
<br />Senior Citizens Industries building purchase. Stelk asked if County Attqrney's
<br />office could handle the closing of sale if building is purchased. Board members
<br />felt should contact Senior Citizens Industries Attorney to handle the matter.
