<br />HALL COUNTY BOARD OF SUPERVISORS MEETING, AUGUST 17, 1993

<br />~~The Hall County Board of Supervisors met at 9:00 a.m. from adjourned session
<br />and by published call with Chairman Gary Quandt presiding.
<br />
<br />~ Present on roll call were Irene Abernethy, Richard Hartman, Margaret Landis,
<br />Robert Leslie, Gary Quandt and Tammie Stelk. Richard Frauen was absent.
<br />
<br />Invocation was given by Abernethy.
<br />
<br />Pledge of Allegiance was given.
<br />
<br />Minutes of August 10th meeting were accepted as received on motion by Aber-
<br />nethy, seconded by Leslie. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Frauen absent. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Commenced audit of monthly claims.
<br />
<br />Supervisor Frauen arrived at meeting at 9:45 a.m.
<br />
<br />Deputy County Attorney Jerom Janulewicz presented information in regard to
<br />tax foreclosure sales to be held August 23 & 24, 1993.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to place bid up to $745.39 on Lot 1 Blk
<br />15, Original Town Cairo. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and
<br />Stelk voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Leslie to place bid up to $326.29 on Lots 7 &
<br />8 Blk 11 First Addition to Wood River. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Landis to bid up to $1734.00 on Lot 5 O'Neill
<br />Sub, Grand Island. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to place bid up to $8000.00 for Lot 22
<br />Argo 4th Sub, AIda. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk
<br />voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried.
<br />
<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to place bid up to $8388.00 on North
<br />50' of Lot 8 Blk 19 Rollins Addn,Grand Island. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis,
<br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Frauen voted no. Motion carried.

<br />Motion by Hartman, seconded by Landis to place bid of $1.00 on Lot 6 Fair-
<br />acres Dairy Sub, except South 20' Abernethy, Frauen, Hartman, Landis, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no. Motion carried~
<br />
<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Leslie to place bid up to $2370.00 on North
<br />250' of NE 1/4 SW 1/4 Sec 5-10-10 Hall County. Abernethy, Hartman, Leslie,
<br />Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Frauen voted no, Landis abstained. Motion
<br />carried. ~

<br />Motion by Abernethy, seconded by Hartman to adopt Resolution #1507 as present-
<br />ed. Abernethy, Hartman, Landis, Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, Frauen
<br />voted no. Motion carried.
