Motion carried. <br /> <br />Petition was presented with 70 signatures requesting blacktopping of one mile <br />of Engleman Road, south of Cedar Hollow School - District #3. <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Landis to accept petition and place on <br />file and look at budget if funding is available. Frauen, Hartman, Landis, <br />Leslie, Quandt and Stelk voted yes, none voted no, with Abernethy absent. <br />Motion carried. <br /> <br />Supervisor Hartman presented a letter from Realtor on real estate listing <br />stating the firm wished to make a proposal on selling county owned properties. <br />Board Members requested be placed on next week's agenda for consideration. <br /> <br />Motion by Frauen, seconded by Leslie to accept and place <br />office reports. Motion carried. <br /> <br />Deputy Attorney Janulewicz spoke to the board in regard to the late filing <br />penalty state.statute and approved action taken by Board members in Board <br />of Equalization meeting. <br /> <br />COMMITTEE REPORTS: <br /> <br />Hartman, reported on Mid, Nebraska Individual Services and had Board Assistant <br />give each Board Member a 'copy of--letter and information received. <br /> <br />Stelk attended Midland Area Agency on Agency meeting last week. <br /> <br />Leslie reported on storm damage clean up at County Park and plan to have <br />camping area opened by Thursday of this week for the week end holiday. <br />Have received prices on purchase of chipper for board members to review and <br />to consider when working on 1993-1994 budgets. No action was taken today. <br /> <br />Qua,ndt attended Midland Area Agency on Aging last week. <br />~~tairport-lyesterday morning. <br /> <br />Attended meeting <br /> <br />County Board Assistant Ellen Merrill reported on parking lot complaint from <br />customer (2) Public Works Committee meeting June 30th at 8:00 a.m. (3) Criminal <br />Justice Committee meeting Friday, July 2nd at 9:30 A.M. (4) Letter of apprecia- <br />tion to Jack Mills and Scott Sailors for conducting the Solid Waste Management <br />meeting (5) Public Notice to be sent to newspapers in regard to the Solid Waste <br />Management Notice (Board Members requested be printed in all County newspapers) <br /> <br />Bob Schwartzkopf, Weed Control Superintendent visited with board members about <br />the request of mosquito control pellets. He had costs of 10 cases for $56.00 <br />per case with 100 pellets in case.
